All information you provide us is securly stored and confidental.

If you were given a referral or any other paper work or test results you can send these to us via email prior to your session. Alternatively you can have your GP or specialist practice fax these directly to us, our fax number is 9171 6597.

Your initial appointment is typically 1 hour in duration which ensures enough time to conduct a thorough nutrition assessment, discuss strategies, devise plans, and provide you with the information you need to make the steps towards better health. Complex conditions and multiple nutrition issues typically require a 90-minute initial session, ask us if you are unsure which will be right for you.

For the assessment you will be asked questions about your lifestyle, current medications and supplements, medical history, symptoms you may be experiencing, and current eating habits. It may be helpful to bring along a food diary with several days worth of entries to help assist you when recalling what you eat, and make a note if you have any particular symptoms that you have noticed.

It is unrealistic to expect you to change your lifestyle overnight, so our consults encourage small realistic steps in the right direction, to ensure you stay motivated and can sustain a long-term healthier lifestyle.

Every person has unique needs, so when it comes to your health and what you need to eat a "one size fits all" approach does not apply. An accredited practising dietitian has undergone extensive training to become qualified with providing individualised and evidence-based nutrition advice. Whether you seek to achieve your best health or manage more complex medical health conditions a dietitian can help you achieve your health goals.
